LANDLORD GAS INSPECTIONS

Landlords have a legal obligation to their tenants to ensure all gas installations are working properly at all times. The term ‘Landlord’ also applies to owners of guest houses, B&B’s, hostels and hotels. Owners of rented holiday accommodation are also classed as ‘Landlords’. Inspections include the following:

Check all pipework, gas appliances, flues and fittings for possible leaks of gas or emissions

Checkevery gas appliance is working properly, including burner pressure, and that dangerous CO emissions are being effectively removed

Check everything is in order including adequate ventilation, and issue a Gas Safety Certificate for your records
